CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF BUSINESS AS SUSTAINABILITY GUARANTEE

Abstract

The study reveals the evolution and role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in ensuring the sustainable development of society. The authors distinguish between mandatory and voluntary initiatives (in economic, environmental and social dimensions), and also analyze ways of their integration into company strategies. Domestic experience is illustrated by data from the Center for CSR Development Ukraine (including ESG indices and green projects) and practical cases from the “Catalog of Business Contribution to Ukraine’s Victory”. Additionally, changes in EU policy and legislation on corporate responsibility are considered. Modern sustainable models (smart economy, smart specialization, circular and green economy) are presented, which accelerate the digital and ecological transformation of business and are practical tools for achieving sustainable development goals.
